The Rolling Stones - 1969 - Altamont Free Concert

Voici le bootleg du concert du 6 decembre 1969, à l'Altamont Speedway (Californie) organisé par les Rolling Stones, en réponse à leur absence à Woodstock. Ils y ont d'ailleurs invité pas mal de grandes figures de Woodstock. Malheureusement, le concert s'est mal passé, il y a eu plus de nez cassés que de solos terminés... c'est comme on l'entend souvent a propos de ce festival, la désillusion de l'idéal hippie.
Ils devaient interrompre le concert toutes les trois chansons, pour stopper les bagarres. La scène a été envahie par spectateurs des à un moment.
Les Hells Angels étaient chargés de la sécurité, et l'un d'entre eux a poignardé un fou qui pointait un pistolet sur la scène (on voit tout ça très bien sur le documentaire Gimme Shelter (1970) ).
La qualité n'est pas super, mais bon, c'est un moment symbolique important dans l'histoire du rock.
